Epson ColorWorks C6500 Colour Label Printer

The Epson ColorWorks C6500 is an inkjet colour label printer that prints full-colour labels on demand — artwork, colour and variable data in a single pass. It is built for manufacturers, chemical and GHS labelling, food, cosmetics and short-run production, where pre-printed label stock is costly to hold and slow to change. Ethernet and USB are standard, so it connects straight to the network and your labelling software.

Why print colour in-house

Colour labels are normally bought pre-printed: you order a run, store it, and reprint the black text onto it. That means minimum order quantities, stock sitting in a cupboard, and a reprint whenever a design or a regulation changes. The C6500 removes that step — the artwork, the colour and the variable data are printed in one pass, one label at a time.

It pays off fastest where you run many label designs in small quantities, or where the design changes often.
