Honeywell RP Mobile Receipt & Label Printer (RP2A0000C30)

The Honeywell RP2 (part numbers RP2A…) is the first-generation 2-inch model of Honeywell's ultra-rugged RP Series mobile printers for labels, receipts and tags – used in direct store delivery, route accounting, field service and retail. It prints 203 dpi output on 25–57 mm media with a 48 mm print width at up to 102 mm/s, survives 2 m drops and 1,000 tumbles, is IP54-sealed and runs on a hot-swappable 2600 mAh Li-ion battery. It connects via Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 LE with NFC tap-to-pair and supports ZPL II, CPCL, IPL and DPL. This version, RP2A0000C30: Wi-Fi 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.1 LE, standard platen for receipts, linered labels and tags. In the box: battery and belt clip – the power supply (charger) is sold separately. Its successor is the RP2f with Bluetooth 5.0 and 125 mm/s printing.

Which version should you choose? Bluetooth versions pair directly with a handheld computer, smartphone or tablet; Wi-Fi + Bluetooth versions also print over your wireless network and can be managed remotely. Linerless versions have a special platen for liner-free labels – no backing paper to dispose of – while standard versions print receipts, linered labels and tags. The RP2A is the previous generation (Bluetooth 4.1, 102 mm/s); the current RP2f adds Bluetooth 5.0 and faster 125 mm/s printing.
