TSC TH240 / TH340

The TSC TH240 / TH340 is a 4-inch thermal transfer desktop label printer for product, asset, shipping, laboratory and RFID labels that must stay readable. The TH240 prints at 203 dpi and the TH340 at 300 dpi, and every version has USB, RS232 and Ethernet. Selected versions add Wi-Fi + Bluetooth or Bluetooth, a UHF RFID encoder, a ribbon cartridge or a white healthcare (HC) housing.

Which version?

• TH240 / TH340 — the standard model with a 3.5" colour touchscreen (-0002) or LED indicators (-1002), tear-off.
• TH240HC / TH340HC — white healthcare housing with touchscreen. The TH240HC-A002 versions load the ribbon as a ribbon cartridge and come without wireless (-0002), with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (-0102) or with Bluetooth (-0202).
• TH240R / TH340R — built-in UHF RFID encoder and touchscreen, for encoding RFID tags while printing.
• TH240RHC / TH340RHC — UHF RFID in the white healthcare housing: tear-off (-0002), peeler (-0012) or cutter (-0022).

R part numbers end in -A001-0WM2. W: 0 = no wireless, 1 = Wi-Fi + Bluetooth, 2 = Bluetooth. M: 0 = tear-off, 1 = peeler / dispenser, 2 = cutter, 3 = care label cutter. Example: TH340R-A001-0122 = 300 dpi, Wi-Fi + Bluetooth, cutter. Bluetooth on these versions is Bluetooth 5.0 with Apple MFi.

TH240 or DH240?

Choose the TH240 / TH340 when labels must last for years, go on synthetic materials or carry an RFID inlay. Choose the direct thermal DH240 / DH340 for shipping and picking labels that only need to last weeks or months, without a ribbon.

All TH240 / TH340 printers below are CE certified and covered by manufacturer warranty. Match the ribbon to the label material — see our ribbons and labels.
