Epson ColorWorks D6000 / D6500 Colour Label Printer

The Epson ColorWorks D6000 / D6500 are colour inkjet label printers with CMYK dye ink, printing at up to 1200 × 1200 dpi. The 4-inch D6000 and the 8-inch D6500 suit food, beverage, retail and product labelling where colour labels are printed on demand instead of bought pre-printed. Every model has USB, Gigabit Ethernet and a 2.7-inch colour LCD, with an auto-cutter or a peeler.

The D6000 takes label rolls up to 203 mm in diameter, the D6500 up to 152 mm. Inks, a maintenance box and EU and UK power cords are included; the USB cable is not.

D6000 or C6000?

The D series and the C6000 share a similar format and the same cutter or peeler choice. The difference is the ink: the D6000 / D6500 use dye ink, while the C6000 and C6500 use pigment ink with a choice of gloss or matte black. Pigment ink generally holds up better to water and light, which matters for chemical (GHS) and outdoor labels.

All D6000 and D6500 printers below are CE certified and covered by manufacturer warranty. They print with Epson dye ink cartridges, so check that the label material is suitable for inkjet printing — see our labels.
