Datalogic Gryphon I GBT4200 Barcode Scanner (GBT4200-BK-BTK1)

The Datalogic Gryphon I GBT4200 is the Bluetooth® cordless version of Datalogic's premium Gryphon 4200 1D linear imager. It reads all standard 1D barcodes – including high-density, low-contrast and damaged codes as well as codes on mobile phone screens – at distances of up to 90 cm, connects via Bluetooth 5.0 with up to 100 m range from its base station and charges wirelessly (inductively) in the base – there are no charging contacts to clean or wear out. Every good read is confirmed by Datalogic's Green Spot and 3GL™, the removable 2550 mAh battery lasts for up to 80,000 reads per charge, and the disinfectant-ready IP52 housing stands up to daily cleaning. This version, GBT4200-BK-BTK1, is black and is supplied as a complete USB kit with the WLC4190-BK-BT Bluetooth wireless charging base and a 2 m USB cable, ready to plug in and scan.

Key Features

• 1D linear imager – reads all standard 1D barcodes, including GS1 DataBar, as well as high-density, low-contrast, poorly printed or damaged codes and 1D codes on mobile phone screens. Please note: it does not read 2D codes such as QR codes or Data Matrix; for those, choose a 2D model such as the Datalogic Gryphon I GBT4500.
• Long reading range – up to 90 cm on 13 mil EAN/UPC and 147 cm on 20 mil Code 39, with resolution down to 3 mil and up to 400 scans per second.
• Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology – up to 100 m range with the base station (Class 1, open air), data encryption and scanner authentication; up to 7 scanners per base, or pair the scanner directly with Bluetooth PCs, tablets and smartphones (HID keyboard emulation or SPP serial port).
• Wireless charging, long battery life – inductive charging in the WLC4190 base eliminates charging contacts that need cleaning or wear out, and the removable 2550 mAh Li-ion battery delivers up to 80,000 reads per charge.
• Soft line viewfinder – a clearly visible aiming line makes it quick to target the right barcode, even on crowded labels.
• Green Spot and 3GL feedback – a green light projected onto the barcode plus three green lights (3GL) on the scanner confirm every good read, even in noisy or dark environments.
• Motionix motion sensing – detects when the scanner is picked up and switches automatically between handheld and presentation (stand) mode.
• Flexible connectivity – the sleek WLC4190 desk/wall base is a USB, USB-C and RS-232 multi-interface, depending on the cable; free Datalogic Aladdin configuration tool, OPOS/JavaPOS utilities and Remote Host Download.
• Disinfectant-ready and rugged – housing built for daily cleaning with harsh disinfectants, IP52 sealed and withstands repeated 1.8 m drops to concrete.
