The Honeywell Voyager 1602g is a pocket-size Bluetooth® barcode scanner and the perfect companion for tablets and smartphones: at 120 × 48 × 22 mm and under 100 g it fits in the palm of your hand, yet it uses the same high-performance area-imaging engine as Honeywell's full-size handheld scanners. It pairs directly with iOS (MFi-certified), Android and Windows devices and Bluetooth-equipped PCs – no base station needed – and its user-replaceable battery lasts up to 2,250 scans over a 12-hour shift. This version, 1602G2D-2USB-OS, reads 1D and 2D codes such as QR Code, Data Matrix and PDF417 – also from phone screens – and comes with a Micro USB cable, battery and straps – ready to pair and scan.
📦 What's in the box – 1602G2D-2USB-OS
- ✅ Honeywell Voyager 1602g scanner – black, pocket-size, 1D and 2D decoding, Bluetooth v2.1
- ✅ Rechargeable battery – Li-ion, 750 mAh, user-replaceable – charge for at least 4 hours before first use
- ✅ Micro USB cable – USB-A to Micro USB; charges the scanner from a USB port on your PC, laptop or a USB charger, and also allows wired USB use
- ✅ Neck strap (lanyard) and wrist strap – carry the scanner around your neck or on your wrist
- ❌ Power adapter – not included – not needed: the scanner charges from any USB port or a standard 5 V / 1 A USB charger
- ❌ Base station – not needed – the scanner pairs directly with your device via Bluetooth; a Honeywell Bluetooth access point is available as an option
💡 How it connects: scan the pairing barcode from the Honeywell user guide and select the scanner on your device – it works as a Bluetooth keyboard (HID, no driver or app needed) with iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows devices, or in SPP mode with apps on MFi-certified Apple devices (default PIN 1234). Range is up to 10 m; out of range, batch mode stores around 500 barcodes and sends them as soon as the connection is restored. You can also use it as a corded USB scanner with the included cable.
💡 Scanning across several shifts? Keep a spare Honeywell battery (50129434-001) at hand – the battery is user-replaceable in seconds. Using a PC without Bluetooth? Add the Honeywell AP06-100BT-07N Bluetooth access point, which connects up to 7 scanners.
