RAM Mounts Tough-Claw Large Clamp Ball Base for 1–2.2" Rails, C-Size (RAP-401U)

RAM Mounts Tough-Claw Large Clamp Ball Base (RAP-401U) clamps tool-free onto round, square and odd-shaped rails and bars 1–2.2" (25.4–55.9 mm) in outer diameter. Rubber pads grip firmly and protect the mounting surface, and the C-size 1.5" (38 mm) ball connects to any RAM C-size double socket arm. Because it installs and releases in seconds, it moves easily between vehicles and equipment – from handlebars and seat posts to roll bars, kayak rails or an aircraft yoke – and suits tablets, smartphones, action cameras and rod holders. It is made of high-strength composite with stainless steel hardware.

📦 What's in the box – RAP-401U

  • Tough-Claw large clamp base – with rubber pads
  • Tough-Claw ball adapter – C-size 1.5" ball (RAP-351-2U)

💡 To get started, you might also consider a C-size double socket arm and a holder with a C-size ball such as the X-Grip holder for 7" tablets, or a round AMPS ball plate for holders with an AMPS pattern.
