RAM Mounts Tough-Claw Small Clamp Ball Base (RAP-400U) clamps tool-free onto round, square and odd-shaped rails and bars 0.625–1.14" (15.9–29 mm) in outer diameter. Rubber pads grip firmly and protect the mounting surface, and the C-size 1.5" (38 mm) ball connects to any RAM C-size double socket arm. Because it installs and releases in seconds, it moves easily between vehicles and equipment – from handlebars and seat posts to roll bars, kayak rails or an aircraft yoke – and suits tablets, smartphones, action cameras and rod holders. It is made of high-strength composite with stainless steel hardware.
