1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the legal relationship between SCANSHOP OÜ (“Seller”) and the customer (“Customer”) concerning the purchase of products (“Products”) via the online store at scanshop.ee (“E-shop”).
1.2. All transactions are subject to the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

3. Prices and VAT

3.1. All prices in the E-shop are displayed in euros (€).
3.2. Unless otherwise indicated, prices include 24% Estonian VAT.
3.3. The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time prior to order acceptance. The valid price is the one shown at checkout.

Cross-border VAT treatment

  • EU B2B (outside Estonia): Customers with a valid EU VAT number will be invoiced without Estonian VAT (reverse charge applies).
  • Non-EU exports: Deliveries outside the EU are invoiced at 0% VAT (zero-rated), subject to proof of export. Import duties/taxes in the destination country are borne by the Customer.
  • EU B2C (consumers outside Estonia): VAT may be applied according to EU OSS (One Stop Shop) distance-selling rules.

👉 Customers outside Estonia will not be charged Estonian VAT where legally applicable.

4. Ordering

4.1. Products are added to the shopping cart by pressing the “Add to cart” button.
4.2. The Customer must provide accurate data (name, address, e-mail, order details) during checkout.
4.3. After placing the order, the Customer receives an automatic acknowledgment e-mail. This does not yet confirm order acceptance.
4.4. Orders are processed only after full payment has been received.

5. Payment

5.1. Payment method: bank transfer only to SCANSHOP OÜ’s Swedbank account:

  • IBAN: EE34 2200 2210 9229 1350
  • BIC/Swift: HABAEE2X

5.2. The Seller has no access to Customer’s banking credentials.
5.3. Orders are prepared and shipped only after payment is received.
5.4. Any transfer fees are borne by the Customer.

6. Delivery

6.1. Orders are delivered to the address provided at checkout.
6.2. Average delivery time is 3–4 working days after payment confirmation. In some cases, delivery may take up to 7 working days.
6.3. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed from 09:00 on the next Monday–Friday working day.
6.4. The Customer is responsible for providing correct delivery details. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by incorrect information.
6.5. If the package arrives damaged or opened, the Customer must immediately inform the Seller at info@scanshop.ee and provide evidence (e.g. photos).

7. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

7.1. Consumers (non-business buyers) have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
7.2. To exercise this right, a written notice must be sent to info@scanshop.ee within the withdrawal period.
7.3. Returned goods must be in original condition, unused, with original packaging and all accessories.
7.4. Unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered, the return shipping cost is paid by the Customer.
7.5. The Seller refunds the purchase within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return).
7.6. Exemptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made products, unsealed hygienic goods, or other cases specified by law.

8. Non-conformity, Warranty and Claims

8.1. If goods are defective or do not match the description, the Customer must contact info@scanshop.ee without undue delay.
8.2. Depending on the issue, remedies may include repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund in line with Estonian law.
8.3. Where applicable, manufacturer warranties will be respected.

9. Liability

9.1. Both parties are liable for direct damages caused by breach of these Terms, as provided by Estonian law.
9.2. The Seller’s maximum liability is limited to the value of the product(s) purchased.
9.3. The Seller is not responsible for interruptions caused by technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond its control.

10. Use of the E-shop

10.1. The Customer agrees to use the E-shop lawfully and in good faith.
10.2. Account security (passwords, access) is the Customer’s responsibility.

11. Changes to Terms

11.1. The Seller may amend these Terms at any time.
11.2. Orders are subject to the Terms valid at the time of purchase.

12. Product Information & Availability

12.1. Product descriptions and photos are regularly updated but may contain minor inaccuracies.
12.2. Availability is confirmed only after payment. If a product is unavailable or mispriced, the Seller may cancel the order and refund the Customer within 14 days.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1. Disputes should first be resolved amicably by contacting info@scanshop.ee.
13.2. If no agreement is reached, consumers may submit complaints to the Consumer Disputes Committee in Estonia. The service is free of charge for consumers.
13.3. Business Customers settle disputes under Estonian law through the competent courts.
